It's all so new! Fine art doll making and me.

Hello readers! I am beginning a blog at the urging of the authors of several books I am reading about how to become known in the world and on Etsy. I am a lifetime visual artist and teacher who was swept away by a passion for making fine art dolls when I spotted an image of the most beautiful doll I had ever seen in the pages of Where Women Create, while standing in a very long lineup at Michael's. The artist whose work brought about my epiphany is Anna Brahms, a world famous dollmaker for the last 30 years. Her fairies and  woodland folk are truly magical and enchanting.  Lucky for me, I am living in the age of the internet, so I was able to search the web for images, advice and tutorials on all aspects of the making of fine art dolls. Who knew that the world held so many devoted doll enthusiasts and creators?
